Iain (aka “ian”, that double “I” throws a lot of people) is an Australian-based eCommerce consultant and trainer that has worked with the likes of Billabong, Quiksilver, Super Cheap Auto, BCF, Terry White Chemmart and 100’s others under NDAs in the UK and Australia. He applies what he learned working for big eCommerce businesses to help independent Aussies businesses.

Originally growing up in the UK he started in eCommerce in 2003, moved to Brisbane in 2011 to join, and eventually ended up running one of the largest independent digital and eCommerce marketing agencies in Australia. He was also the Chief Marketing Officer for a 500 person European tech company before working for himself as a consultant and trainer.

Australian-based eCommerce consultant and trainer that has worked with the likes of Modibodi, The Block Shop, Tigerlily, Esther & Co, Al.ive Body, Oz Hair & Beauty, Camilla & Marc, Stussy, Rusty, as well as a range of owner run Shopify brands.
Having 8+ years Shopify Plus experience, I focus on e-commerce development, finance & strategy with a holistic approach to conversion rate optimisation. I ensure merchants get clarity on their numbers & give them the confidence to scale profitably!
This is achieved by viewing the entire customer viewpoint and lifecycle through acquisition, conversion, retention, a/b testing, optimising and continuous improvement! Understanding the fundamentals of ecommerce and doubling down on them are the keys to success.
My process is designed to empower you the merchant to learn in order to be able to do as much of this as possible over time with us in the background to support and assist break down barriers!

Originally growing up in Ireland he started in eCommerce in 2012.
Moved to Austin, Texas in 2014 to join the American Lottery working as part of the acquisition & retention team of a loyalty program for their mobile app. Eventually moved to Sydney in 2016 and spent 7 years on the agency side as senior account manager leading CRO, strategy & business development for merchants doing $5-$50mill online.
In 2021 started working 1 to 1 with ecommerce merchants to help them block out the noise, provide clarity and confidence for them to scale profitably.
